In your role as Supply Planner, you will play a vital part in ensuring our products are available to meet customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Approximately 70% of your tasks will focus on planning activities, including developing accurate demand forecasts and supply plans in collaboration with procurement, production, and sales teams. The remaining 30% of your responsibilities will involve purchasing tasks, such as managing procurement processes and buying activities. You will report directly to the Head of Planning and Logistic with a dotted line to the HQ Supply Chain Management.
Your Responsibilities:
70% Planning:
- Focus on demand forecasting, inventory management, internal planning, and process optimization.*
- Perform replenishment planning for raw materials, review planning parameters (safety stocks, segmentation), and manage raw material inventory levels.
- Create and maintain planning data in SAP, including safety stocks, reorder points, and segmentation parameters.
- Lead initiatives for process standardization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement within supply planning.
- Document planning processes and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively adjust planning parameters to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
30% Buying:
- Focus on procurement activities, order management, supplier coordination, and supply disruptions.*
- Create, manage, and monitor purchase orders in SAP; coordinate with suppliers for PO confirmations and manage late deliveries or shortages.
- Follow up on delivery schedules, manage return deliveries, and handle supply disruptions such as force majeure or global shortages.
- Track goods receipts, process material call-offs based on production schedules, and ensure inventory accuracy.
What do you bring with you:
- Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly in procurement, inventory management, and logistics modules.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and warehouse management.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proactive attitude with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
- Previous experience (even short-term) in production, supply chain, or planning roles.
- Good proficiency in SAP and advanced skills in Excel.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
