Due to the expansion of our sales team we are searching for a (Key) Account Manager at our location in Breda.

 

International (Key) Account Manager

As an International (Key) Account Manager, you will be part of the commercial team and report to the Team Lead Sales. You will work closely with our Agronomy & Purchasing and R&D teams to identify and develop the right products to meet our customers’ needs.

 

You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients and driving sales within the international food and beverage market, with a particular focus on the UK market and customers requiring tropical fruit ingredients.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • You will build and maintain our relationships with (key) accounts, realizing growth. Our customer segments range from beverages and dairy to savory applications.
  • You manage the sales budget for your customers, create account plans and take care that forecasting is up to date to enable our factories to run their operations efficiently.
  • You will be responsible for securing new accounts by market research in collaboration with business intelligence and a close collaboration with local organizations.
  • You will negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and other sales conditions.
  • You work closely together with our R&D team to initiate and coordinate test phases and application research and write content for new applications.
  • You organise proactive meetings for our customers with a focus on innovation.
  • You will analyze customer needs and trends, providing insights to align SVZ’s offerings with future market demands.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit?

 

  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to identify opportunities and deliver results.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • International commercial experience, ideally in B2B sales or account management.
  • Knowledge of tropical fruits, fruit ingredients and their applications.
  • Proven track record in sales, deal negotiation, and client success.
  • Deep knowledge of the food industry.
  • Experience with, or a strong understanding of, the UK food and beverage market.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills to manage multiple initiatives and anticipate market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Independent, flexible, and willing to travel up to 25%.
