The Pre-Scaler Technician is a  part of the Production team. The Production Pre-Scaler Technician is responsible for accurately scaling and mixing both dry and liquid ingredients, flavors, and partial quantities. The Pre-Scaler Technician will also perform task associated with maintaining accurate inventory control, staging of materials, and will perform prep and job staging inventory control and WIP. keeping all partial raw materials needed for bulk manufacturing, while watching constantly for a safe and clean work place.  

Your Role:

1.    Pre scale all raw materials using FIFO.
2.    Responsible for raw materials storage and staging. 
3.    Processing released orders in SAP for production processing by required date.
4.    Processing CRTD orders is SAP for pre-staging  
5.    Return all unused materials to proper  storage locations (ambient/refrigerated)
6.    Pre scale raw materials using scales and different utensils. 
7.    Ensure raw materials and flavors are maintained in production staging area 48 hours in advance of schedule. 
8.    Manage time with excellence with the ability to prioritize workload.
9.    Process samples orders for R&D.
10.    Send out daily recap reports
11.    Maintain clean and organized  area - 5s maintained daily.
12.    Operates production machines by means of automatic/manual controls, and adjusts production equipment to product-specific parameters according to the daily production plan and the observance of time parameters.
13.    Processes raw and semi-finished products according to the recipe, manufacturing and operating instructions for all departments. 
14.    Takes samples and conducts quality controls, forwarding the results to Quality as needed. 
15.    Fills finished products into appropriate packaging.
16.    Records all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.). 
17.    Adheres to GMPs within appropriate zones.
18.    Performs general sanitation duties.
19.    Assists in other areas of production as needed

Your Profile:
1.    High School diploma or equivalent
2.    Forklift Experience  
3.    2+ years’ experience in production,  scaling,  and/or flavor production 
4.    Comfortable using mask or respirator for flavoring or chemical products
5.    1+ years’ experience with SAP
6.    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
7.    Able to handle drums of up to 600 pounds and carry bags of up to 80 pounds
