The Inventory Control Manager plays a pivotal role in powering a world-class inventory operation across all Döhler North America plants and 3rd-party partners. This leader drives sustainable, accurate, and highly efficient inventory performance that aligns with our bold strategic vision. You’ll champion best-in-class inventory practices, energize warehouse teams both internally and externally, and shape a cost-effective, high-performing North American warehouse network. All while hitting ambitious inventory optimization targets and raising the bar for operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a complete inventory control strategy encompassing daily cycle counts
- Oversee the import/export, transportation, distribution, and warehousing functions to ensure cost effective and timely delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day inventory operations at multiple plants and 3rd party warehouses, ensuring optimal stock levels for both raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure proper storage and handling procedures for perishable and non-perishable food ingredients, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and SAP records, implementing corrective actions.
- Train and supervise staff on proper inventory counting and audit procedures.
- Ensure SAP system is used effectively for inventory tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Maintain and update inventory data in SAP, ensuring real-time accuracy across all facilities and 3rd party warehouses.
- Analyze SAP reports to identify discrepancies or potential issues in inventory levels and resolve them proactively.
- Collaborate with IT and SAP support teams to optimize the inventory module for better efficiency, and assist in SAP updates and upgrades when necessary.
Travel

Your Profile:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience of over 5 years in a warehouse, or inventory role.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP, WMS, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data driven decisions.
- SOP process development and participation.
- Excellent IT user skills
