The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. This role balances customer requirements, material availability, and production capacity to drive optimal plant performance and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities

- Develop and manage daily production plans in alignment with customer specifications and in collaboration with production teams.
- Execute production planning activities within ERP/IT systems and manage scheduling outputs.
- Review and confirm availability of raw materials, components, and production capacity to support incoming customer orders.
- Plan and allocate production orders across multiple plants, considering throughput times, changeover/cleaning times, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate redistribution and relocation of raw or blended materials to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Compile, monitor, and analyze production metrics and performance statistics; recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain and update material master data to ensure system accuracy and data integrity.
- Support preventive and corrective actions related to complaints, deviations, and non-conformance management.
- Implement and sustain Operational Excellence and Digital Manufacturing (OEDM) standards, including 5S and standardized work; escalate deviations to management as appropriate.
- Identify and initiate process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Facilitate effective communication and information exchange within the division and across cross-functional interfaces (e.g., production, procurement, logistics, quality).
- Document and maintain efficient processes within internal IT systems and digital platforms.
- Contribute to and support digital transformation initiatives within the area of responsibility, including process optimization, system enhancements, and stakeholder collaboration on digitization projects.
Your Profile:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment
- SAP experience
