Senior Quality Management Specialist

Position Summary

The Senior QMS Specialist plays a key role in driving Quality and Food Safety programs across Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions (DDIS) and Doehler Juice Solutions (DJS). This role is responsible for conducting internal and supplier audits, managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), supporting regulatory and customer compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement projects that elevate our quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

- Support and enhance the Quality Management Systems for DDIS and DJS.

- Plan and execute internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance and drive improvements.

- Lead CAPA investigations related to plant non-conformances and follow through to closure.

- Manage and resolve customer and vendor complaints.

- Perform trending and data analysis on audit findings and key quality metrics.

- Maintain accurate and organized quality documentation and files.

- Oversee HACCP and FSMA compliance programs for both facilities.

- Lead the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).

- Support customer inquiries related to evaluations, capabilities, and quality integration.

- Assist in Document Control, including maintaining the Master Document Database.

- Perform Manufacturing Record Reviews to ensure compliance with CCPs and release requirements.

- Lead product traceability exercises and mock recalls.

- Support the development and approval of plant procedures.

- Participate in quality meetings, trainings, and cross-functional initiatives.

- Manage communication and quality notifications with customers and suppliers.

- Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring quality requirements are met.

Your Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.

- Strong background in quality systems (CAPA, document control, auditing) within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience working with ISO, BRC, GFSI, or FSSC standards.

- Skilled in internal auditing practices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
