The Extraction Technician1 is responsible for safely achieving production demands and quality requirements within a defined time-frame, from preparation to filling, while remaining compliant with hygiene, HACCP and work safety guideline.

• Demonstrated ability to accurately take and document Extractions equipment readings
• Understanding of proper storage containers and ability to accurately pull and store product
• Perform proper mixing and sampling procedures of Extraction production products
• Ability to Operate Vacuum pump
• Basic understanding of Process Instructions(PI) for Extractions Department Equipment.
• Proven ability to remain organized and on track while running multiple Extraction Operations.
• Basic understanding of Extraction Equipment and Operation
• Demonstrated ability to clean the Extraction departments equipment to GMP standards.
• Demonstrated Knowledge of RM handling
• Basic knowledge of Processing parameters
• Ability to start up, operate and shut down Extraction Equipment
• Utilities Training
Your Profile:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Must be proficient in the use of equipment such as flow meters, scales, steam lines, chart recorders, agitators, pumps, valves, and batch tanks
• Must be able to read and understand PI sheets
• Must be able to read and follow a production schedule
