We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Specialist HR Operations & Services to join our team in our Manufacturing plant in the Lekki Free Zone in Lagos, Nigeria.

As Specialist HR Operations & Services, you will support the day-to-day HR administration and workforce management activities of the manufacturing plant, ensuring that employee information, HR processes, and HR systems are maintained accurately and efficiently.

You will play a critical role in supporting a diverse workforce including production, warehouse, quality, maintenance, engineering, and support function employees.

Your Responsibilities
Employee & Organizational Data Management
Maintain accurate employee, position, organizational, and reporting line data within SuccessFactors and related HR systems.
Ensure timely processing of new hires, promotions, transfers, contract changes, organizational changes, and employee exits.
Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with company standards and local legislation.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR systems.
Support managers and employees in the effective use of HR tools and employee self-service functionalities.

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Management
Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including induction schedules, documentation, system access requests, and personnel file creation.
Support contract administration, probation management, confirmations, employee changes, and offboarding processes.
Coordinate leave administration and attendance-related processes.
Support payroll preparation activities by ensuring accurate employee master data and timely submission of relevant information.
Liaise with external providers and government agencies where required.

HR Service Delivery
Act as the first point of contact for HR administrative inquiries from employees and managers.
Provide timely and customer-focused support regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, leave, contracts, and HR systems.
Ensure a positive employee experience through responsive and professional HR service delivery.
Support employee engagement and communication initiatives within the plant.

Manufacturing Workforce Administration
Support workforce administration activities related to production employees, shift workers, warehouse personnel, quality teams, maintenance teams, and other plant functions.
Assist with manpower reporting and workforce planning activities.
Support attendance monitoring and employee scheduling administration where applicable.
Maintain accurate workforce statistics and HR dashboards for plant management.

HR Sytems & Technology
Support the effective utilization of SuccessFactors and other HR systems.
Assist with system updates, testing activities, mass uploads, and reporting requirements.
Promote digital HR processes and employee self-service adoption.
Contribute to HR digitalization and process optimization initiatives.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery efficiency.
Document HR procedures and workflows.
Support implementation of global HR standards and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within both HR and plant operations.

Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor legislation, Free Zone requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Ensure all HR documentation is maintained in accordance with legal and company requirements.

Collaboration & Team Contribution
Promote strong collaboration between HR, Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
Facilitate effective communication and information sharing across departments.
Support local and regional HR projects as required.
Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.

Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HRIS support.
Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, food & beverage, or production environment is strongly preferred.
Experience working with HR systems, ideally SuccessFactors.
Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law and HR administration practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English is required, French is an advantage.
