Your role

  • Development and deployment of a product line and product portfolio including business development, supply chain, pricing, innovation and growth initiatives for a defined category of the Business Unit Specialty Ingredients (Freeze Dried Fruit & Vegetable, Granulates & Inclusions, Powders)
  • Management and development of the procut assortment with the Business Unit organization and the respective internal stakeholders within our global matrix organization
  • Support of the development of a roadmap for your products to drive the business growth in close alignment with the Team Leader Product Management
  • Active monitoring of competitors to benchmark our portfolio and prepare a competitive analysis
  • Support of the sales team by actively engaging in customer visits, projects and briefings to share specific product and market knowhow
  • Analysis of customer and market feedback and product usage in order to feed that back into the product roadmap supported by Market Intelligence
  • Communication and maintainance of aligned portfolio updates on all media incl. product portfolio displays within and outside of the organization
  • Preparation of in-house trainings to foster a deeper understanding of the product portfolio and positioning

 

Your profile

  • First experience as a product manager or having a sales / application background in the food and beverages industry, preferably in a B2B business environment
  • Degree in food technology, general business administration or a similar qualification
  • Strong open-minded and entrepreneurial set with the willingness to engage and build a network within our global matrix organization
  • Organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking skills, capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage change and multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to travel globally approx. 20% of the working time
  • IT literate (proficient use of MS Office, SAP experience desirable)
  • Fluent English and German skill
