My Role

  • You lead and manage complex cloud development and implementation projects on Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals
  • You also strategically plan and optimize the existing Azure infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, high availability, and cost efficiency
  • You mentor and supervise Junior Cloud Engineers in integrating applications and data into the cloud
  • Additionally, you take technical responsibility for planning and executing extensive migration projects from on-premises systems to Azure
  • You develop and implement robust and scalable automation solutions using Azure DevOps and other tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Continuous optimization of cloud resource utilization falls within your responsibilities, aiming to minimize costs while maximizing performance
  • You are the point of contact for internal teams regarding cloud best practices and architectural decisions, conducting training sessions and workshops for knowledge sharing
  • Furthermore, you define and update security policies, ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout the cloud environment

 

My Profile

  • You have a completed degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Additionally, you have at least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, focusing on complex architectures and solutions
  • You can demonstrate that you have led and managed cloud projects
  • You possess comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in all areas of Microsoft Azure, including:
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure Storage Solutions
    • Networking services (Azure Virtual Network, Azure Load Balancer)
    • Security services (Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory Privileged Identity Management)
    • Virtualization services (Azure VMs, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service)
    • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM Templates, Terraform)
    • DevOps pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, Git)
    • Cloud cost management tools (Azure Cost Management, Azure Monitor)
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Developer Associate are desirable
  • Additionally, you possess excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written, and can convey complex technical concepts clearly
  • You exhibit strong leadership qualities and are capable of leading and nurturing a motivated cloud engineering team
  • A pronounced analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively round out your profile
  • You have a passion for new technologies and a commitment to continuous self-improvement
