Your Responsibilities

 

  • End-to-end accountability for stable and integrated General Ledger and Asset Accounting processes within our global SAP Finance landscape
  • Solution ownership for GL & Asset Accounting, including integration with MM, CO, Inventory, and Material Ledger
  • Build and further develop a Finance end-to-end (E2E) template—from design and customizing support through testing and go-live to productive stabilization
  • Ensure consistent posting logic across the entire process chain from MM/Inventory via Material Ledger through FI/period-end closing
  • Conduct fit-to-standard analyses and troubleshoot posting and reconciliation processes
  • Translate business requirements into implementable solutions (agile / release-oriented)
  • Further develop data quality, account/master data governance, and KPI-based reporting (e.g., GR/IR aging, close exceptions, ML variances)
  • Ensure measurable process quality through stable operations, fewer exceptions, and more efficient closing processes
  • Key contact for the IT-FI-stream, supporting the interface between Finance and IT

 

 
 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Several years of hands-on experience in General Ledger Accounting with a global focus within an SAP Finance environment; ideally complemented by knowledge of Asset Accounting
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes and their integration with adjacent areas such as MM, Inventory, and Material Ledger
  • Experience in implementing/enhancing SAP Finance solutions and S/4HANA transformations
  • Very good understanding of posting logic, account determination, and reconciliation and closing processes
  • Ability to perform structured analyses and identify root causes of errors in postings and process flows
  • Confident handling of KPIs, reconciliations, and large data volumes; proficiency in Excel as well as BI/analytics tools (e.g., SAC or Power BI) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in working with Finance, IT, and Operations
  • High execution focus, pragmatism, and the ability to make decisions in complex process and system landscapes, combined with a hands-on mindset and strong systems affinity
