About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Sourcing Manager – Processing aids to lead the development and execution of our global processing aid sourcing strategy. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing suppliers worldwide to ensure the best combination of quality, cost, innovation, sustainability, and supply reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for enzymes, filtration materials, cleaning materials, etc.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing strategic partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, contracts, service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
- Analyze global market trends, raw material developments, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, performance, and service standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support
- Lead supplier performance management through KPIs, scorecards, audits, and business reviews.
- Manage supplier risk assessments, business continuity planning, and supply chain resilience initiatives.
- Build and maintain market intelligence on processing aids technologies, materials, and supplier landscapes across global markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, with significant experience in the food industry.
- Experience sourcing food products or raw materials for the food industry and related components.
- Proven track record of supplier negotiations and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Strong understanding of global supply markets, supplier management, and procurement best practices.
- Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities.
