Your Role
- You implement the Truck Transportation Sourcing Operating Strategy (Ambient, Thermo, Dangerous Goods, Tankcar) on a global level
- You align the strategy with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- You analyze and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost and global standardization
- You manage truck tenders, handle spot requests and assess sourcing opportunities
- You track price trends, adjust procurement strategie, and negotiate contracts
- You monitor fuel surcharges and ensure compliance with quality, governance and sustainability standards
- You observe the market to identify optimal purchasing timing and explore outsourcing opportunities
- You manage contract administration and maintain strong engagement with stakeholders
- You conduct performance reviews with preferred suppliers
Your Profile
- You completed studies in Business Administration, Logistics or an equivalent field
- You bring several years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in logistics (especially Truck Transportation), ideally in the food or a related industry
- You are experienced in SAP S4Hana, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and tendering tools
- You work independently, in a structured way and with a solution-oriented mindset
- You have a hands-on mentality and thrive in practical problem-solving
- You possess strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- You demonstrate excellent communication, relationship management and adaptability
- You are also tech-savvy, process-oriented and enjoy working collaboratively in a team
- You are proficient in both German and English (written and spoken)
