We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to our Market Segment – Food. This role is about defining and executing strategies, fostering a strategic growth program, and using the digital tools and channels to support the growth plans & development. If you are someone who can provide both technical and disciplinary leadership and is excited about making a real impact, this is the position for you.
Your tasks
• Develop and implement the global strategy to achieve a leading position in the market segment
• Develop and supervise the implementation of the strategy by developing and executing a global development plan in your area of responsibility
• Develop strategic guidelines for market relevant concepts to support the “got-to-market” activities
• Monitor and support the market segment managers of a global team in executing the global plans in their respective regions
• Support the team in rolling out innovative initiatives, closely collaborating with business units
• Offer technical and disciplinary leadership, assessment, and development for the MS managers
• Leverage available digital tools within the segment for the execution of the growth plans
• Engage in global customer visits and events, partnering actively with the sales organization to develop new business opportunities
• Collaborate across multiple functions and regions to drive initiatives forward creating results
• Collaborate closely with regional organizations to create and roll out market segment development plans
• Drive continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures
• Spearhead in-house trainings to enhance a deeper comprehension of the market segment
Your Profile
• Several years of professional leadership experience in Product Management or Marketing, preferably within the food and beverage industry
• Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of current talent management trends and a profound passion for people development
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines with robust analytical and conceptual skills
• Willing to encourage new ideas and strategies, foster creativity and innovation within the team
• Ability to manage dual reporting to both functional and project managers
• Ability to deal with multiple priorities, adapting to changing business needs and objectives as well as communicate effectively across various departments, ensuring alignment and clarity
• Global mindset with experience in matrix organizations, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration
• Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a hands-on approach, effective in both team settings and individual endeavors
• Business fluent in German & English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
