Position Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Head of Sales (m/f/d) to oversee and manage our sales operations within the Food sector in the DACH region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and leading high-performing Teams, and driving revenue growth in the Food sector.


Your role

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Food DACH Sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the sector Food within the DACH region
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners in our business sector Food
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and areas for growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and success in the market
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the executive team


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in sales leadership roles within the food production industry
  • Strong understanding of the DACH region's food market, trends, and customer dynamics
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on achieving results and fostering a positive work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, resulting in revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive informed decision-making
  • Business fluent in English and German, additional languages beneficial
