As a Business Unit (BU) Controller at Döhler, you are much more than a numbers expert — you are a strategic sparring partner to our Business Units and play an active role in shaping the future development of our company. Working closely with management, you drive performance, portfolio, and profitability while bringing transparency to complex business relationships.

What matters most to us: we are not only looking for traditional controllers. We also explicitly welcome candidates with a strong commercial background, particularly in product management. • Analyze the strategic and operational objectives of the functions within your scope of responsibility and derive sound recommendations for action
  • Prepare reports and management presentations tailored to the target audience, interpret figures in their business context, and provide a solid basis for decision-making
  • Support the optimization, digitalization, and integration of reporting and business processes
  • Independently prepare ad hoc analyses for business partners and management
  • Contribute actively to portfolio steering and help shape the commercial development of our product and business strategy

  • Ideally, solid knowledge of and experience in the B2B food industry
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to translate complex data and relationships into clear, strategically relevant decision-making support
  • A mindset that sees numbers not as an end in themselves, but as the basis for concrete recommendations and actions
  • Solution-oriented, precise, and entrepreneurial way of thinking
  • Strong communication skills at management level and experience in professional stakeholder management
  • A collaborative team player with a high level of ownership and the drive to move topics forward independently
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as SAP BW and S/4HANA
  • Strong interest in working with new technologies, challenging existing processes, and actively driving digitalization in finance and reporting
