Your Role 

• In your position, you will develop new formulations and concepts for the confectionery sector with focus on chocolate and alternatives. The main focus will be on laboratory scale work but you may work externally on larger scale equipments. 
• You will work with our products such as Cereal, Nut and Pulses, Colours, flavours, texturants, fruit powders and pieces, fruit concentrates, etc. to create innovative products and solutions for the Chocolate industry 
• In addition to selecting suitable raw materials, you will provide expert advice on existing products and new product concepts for internal and external inquiries 
• You will independently produce samples of products and concepts and present them both internally and externally to customers 
• You will work closely with relevant interfaces from R&D, Sales, Product management and Production 
• You will provide technical and operational support during scale-up processes in our plants and at our pilot facilities  

Your Profile 

• You have completed a degree in food technology or a comparable academic qualification 
• Ideally, you have a professional background in the Confectionery Industry. 
• You bring relevant experience in food product development, ideally with a focus Confectionery 
• As a specialist in your field, you are very familiar with the raw materials used and the production processes 
• You share our passion to tackle and work through some of the key Confectionery Industry challenges with a strong hands-on approach. You thrive working in a dynamic and agile environment and bring new ideas to challenges. 
• Your colleagues appreciate your positive, innovative, and results-oriented approach 
• Your organized and detailed working style is complemented by your strong teamwork skills 
• You have initial knowledge of SAP and common MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
• Your working languages are German and English
