The Role

  • Project co-ownership in the Lead to Order process, supporting Sales in identifying optimal products, services and technical solutions for relevant customer requests (RFPs).
  • Collaboration with the Account Manager during the briefing phase of the Lead to Order process, including finalization of the briefing, selection of products from the portfolio, and definition and initiation of development orders for Application or R&D.
  • Acting as gatekeeper for Development Orders by assessing business relevance and the ratio between effort and potential, as well as managing the Development Order Pipeline (DO).
  • Expert knowledge of AZURE (portfolio catalogue) and close coordination with the Business Units regarding portfolio content and the identification of portfolio gaps.
  • Shaping the regional/Area CR assortment in alignment with Market Segments and Application.
  • Identification of co-development opportunities with customers and participation in innovation projects that offer appropriate benefits for Döhler, while promoting the service offering in accordance with the product catalogue.

 

The Profile

  • Extensive technical expertise combined with a strong commercial orientation.
  • High level of assertiveness and persistence, complemented by outstanding communication skills.
  • Successfully completed studies in beverage or food technology, ecotrophology, brewing technology or a comparable natural science discipline.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Solution- and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in customer meetings.
  • Ideally 5–8 years of experience in R&D, Sales, Business Units or Market Segments within Döhler or comparable industries.
