Responsibilities / Tasks:
General Building Blocks
- Implement the divisional strategy within the area of responsibility.
- Building and developing a qualified and motivated team. Technical and disciplinary leadership, assessment and development of directly subordinate employees. Decide on individual personnel measures in coordination with HR.
- Implement and ensure optimal information exchange in the area of responsibility and with the interfaces.
- Continuously standardizing and optimizing processes and organizational structures and initiating corresponding measures.
- Contributing ideas and implementing the digital transformation in the area of responsibility. Coordinating and implementing digitization projects in cooperation with the interfaces. Optimizing and mapping new and existing business processes in the digital databases and systems.
- Plan human, material and financial resources. Adherence to the approved budget and initiation of appropriate measures in the event of threatened and identified deviations in coordination with the manager.
- Review and comply with legal requirements and internal regulations, initiate appropriate action.
- Implementing and ensuring efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems and their documentation.
Job Profile-specific Building Blocks
- Create detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
- Develop and oversee basic and detail engineering ensuring alignment with project targets
- Provide technical advice and support to the team and ensure that engineering solutions meet the required standards.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) are available for the project. Track project costs and ensure the project stays within the allocated budget. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that everything is delivered on time and as specified.
- Identify potential risks that could impact the project schedule, budget, or quality. Develop strategies to mitigate or manage identified risks.
- Responsible for end-to-end project management (ideation to start-up)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to align project goals and outcome
Job requirements:
- Bachelor degree of Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as Projects engineer preferably manufacturing background
- Fluent in English is a must
- PMP background is a must
- Strong personal and communication skills
