As Manager Data Governance (m/f/d), you will design and establish Data Governance for Döhler’s SAP-driven data landscape. Your focus will be on master and reference data in the areas of Supply Chain Management and Commercial.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess the maturity level of Data Governance and develop and operationalize governance concepts, standards, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures

• Build and further develop processes for data ownership, stewardship, classification, lifecycle management, as well as the creation, modification, approval, use, and retirement of master and reference data

• Manage governance activities for material, customer, supplier, and business partner data, including business rules, quality requirements, approval criteria, escalation paths, and critical data elements

• Advise business and IT stakeholders, translate business requirements into practical concepts and solutions, and facilitate and coordinate cross-functional workshops, projects, and workstreams

• Define and further develop data quality dimensions, KPIs, monitoring and reporting approaches, analyze recurring data quality issues, and coordinate sustainable improvement measures

• Maintain and enhance governance artifacts such as business glossaries, data catalogs, metadata, and data object documentation, while contributing SAP and process expertise to initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP MDG, master data, data integration, source-to-pay, and order-to-cash

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Business Process Management, or a comparable environment

• Proven hands-on experience in building and further developing governance structures, standards, roles, and processes

• Experience in collaborating with business and IT stakeholders and managing cross-functional initiatives

• Ability to translate business requirements into practical concepts and implementable solutions

• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

• Structured, analytical, and pragmatic way of working, as well as very good English skills

• Ideally, experience with SAP (e.g. SD, MM, S/4HANA, MDG), master data governance, data quality, data catalogs, and relevant tools; German language skills are a plus
