The Demand Planner is responsible for increasing the transparency of the medium-term development of demand within Doehler North America and improving forecast accuracy and processing customer orders efficiently and on time taking into account cost-optimized production and customer requirements into account.
Your Responsibilities:

- Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager.
- Continuously standardizing and optimizing processes and organizational structures and initiating corresponding measures.
- Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
- Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
- Implementing and maintaining OEDM standards (e.g. 5S; standardised work).
- Monitoring medium-term changes in demand/trend recognition (raw materials and final products).
- Continuously optimizing of the system environment.
- Checking material and raw material availability and production capacities in accordance with incoming customer orders.
- Conduct S&OP calls with relevant stakeholders.
- Review upcoming pipeline, project launch dates, orders vs forecast an a regular basis with sales.

Your Profile:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship and/or degree in Business Administration/Economics
- 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting role for the supply chain and Production environment
- excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 and common analysis and evaluation tools
