As part of Döhler’s continued commitment to people development and business growth, we are seeking a Head of BU Health to lead our global health business from our Innovation Center in Princeton, NJ. This onsite leadership role offers a unique opportunity to partner with the current position holder through a structured handover process, ensuring a seamless transition and effective onboarding experience. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, accelerating innovation, and driving sustainable growth across our health portfolio on a global scale.

 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop and implement the business strategy for the global health business including the product portfolio, business development, supply chain, pricing, innovation and the overall growth initiatives
  • Define a sustainable, profitable roadmap to drive the business and revenue growth in line with the customer requirements, while ensuring it is in line with the Doehler business value
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers
  • Drive innovation projects and pipelines through to the commercialization stage
  • Build a strong working relationship with the product organization and the respective internal stakeholders within our global matrix organization
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our customers to build a deeper understanding of their needs, workflows and business challenges 
  • Support customer visits with the sales team and take over public appearances
  • Communicate up-to-date and aligned portfolio updates on all media incl. product portfolio displays within and outside of the organization 
  • Ensure in-house trainings to foster a deeper understanding of the product portfolio and the positioning

 

Salary Range - $250,000 –280,000 
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits.  An individual’s final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.  

 

 

Your Profile: 

 

  • Successful track record in a similar international product management focused on B2B Food & Beverage markets
  • Minimum five years supervisory or managerial experience in a matrix environment is required
  • Proven technological knowledge in bioscience with a strong commercial drive
  • Proven track record creating and executing product roadmaps incrementally and sustainably
  • Strong customer mind set with demonstrated ability to engage directly and honestly with customers and deliver positive experience by creating a partnership mentality
  • Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive business objectives while maintaining our company and people values
  • Very good understanding of current talent management practices with a great passion for people development
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking skills, capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage change and multiple priorities in a dynamic and ever-changing surrounding
  • Willingness to travel globally between 20%-30% of the working time
  • Fluent English will be required. German or other additional languages highly beneficial
