We are currently looking for an intern to join our Sensory and Consumer Science department on-site in our Princeton, NJ location for Summer 2025. Standard working hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a flexible schedule allowing interns to work between 20 to 40 hours per week.

Interns gain real-world exposure to sensory panels, data analysis, and product development alongside industry experts in a collaborative, global environment. Your responsibilities: 

• Support daily sensory panel operations, including labeling samples and assisting with test execution
• Help recruit, train, and evaluate sensory panelists following Döhler’s global standards
• Assist in creating sensory references and simple training solutions for descriptive analysis
• Enter and manage sensory data, helping to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Contribute to growing and developing a local panelist database
• Gain hands-on lab experience while learning how to evaluate and interpret sensory results

Your profile: 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.
• General Lab Experience
• Sensory Competency
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Strong interpersonal skills – You enjoy working with people, are a clear communicator, and thrive in team-oriented, customer-facing environments.
• Able to take direction and work independently when needed
