Job Title:  Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Scientist/Food Technologist with a strong beverage development background to drive customer-focused product development activities, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with market and customer needs. This is a full time, onsite position based in our Princeton, NJ office. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, hours may occasionally vary depending on business needs and workload.
 

 

Your role:

 

 

  • Drive the product development activities along the different Lead to Order (LtO) stages in close collaboration with Sales
  • Act as a technical expert providing guidance and insight during customer briefs and meetings to ensure technical alignment to client needs
  • Being "technical" is an integral part of the opportunity team for all customer projects (LtO), responsible for prioritizing incoming brief/projects and project manage/controlling as well as checking product requests for technical feasibility
  • Participate in tastings for product development
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Business Units, as well as local and global D&A/R&D teams, to ensure customer needs are met
  • Identifying gaps in the product range and establishing and constantly updating the product sub-range in collaboration with Application and Business Unit’s to deliver suitable product solutions in line with the given requirements into the LtO / for our customers
  • Attend, participate customer visits and workshops taking place and conduct them independently in focus projects.
     

 

Salary Range - $105k - 120k 
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits.  An individual’s final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.  

 

 

Your Profile:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Science or other science-related field
  • 3-5 years’ hands on experience in beverge development/application or beverage R&D 
  • Strong project management, follow-through and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in beverage development, solid project management skills, the ability to balance technical and commercial considerations, and a passion for sustainable, natural food and beverage products.
