Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and developing a qualified and motivated team. Leading, assessing and developing directly subordinate employees in a professional and disciplinary capacity. Determining individual personnel measures in consultation with HR. Ensuring the best personnel management of employees who are indirectly subordinate within the line management structure and technically subordinate in the Group organisation.
- Planning personnel, material and financial resources. Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager. Ensuring compliance with the approved budget.
- Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
- Ensuring optimum documentation of work steps in the company data systems.
- Conducting the annual sales planning and ensuring that customer-related forecasts are constantly updated.
- Developing and implementing sales initiatives and implementing business unit initiatives.
- Implementing framework conditions for the coordination of customer visits.
- Contribution and realization of ideas for the digital transformation in the area of responsibility. Alignment and realization of digitization projects in cooperation with the stakeholders. Optimization and documentation of new and existing business processes in the digital data bases and systems.
- Defining the area-specific industry channel sales strategy and deriving the operative goals (e.g. portfolio business, new business, competitor share, new business areas/portfolio management) for the area of responsibility, taking long-term strategic corporate goals into account. Ensuring the compilation and regular updating of account development plans. Creating market development plans.
- Adapting and securing the global standards for the sales structures and processes, and ensuring that these continue to improve.
- Ensuring that regional sales, turnover and profit targets are met in cooperation with the respective business unit, as well as introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations.
- Ensuring that BTO processes are handled in the best way possible.
- Manage price escalation process under consideration of actual market and customer situation as well as ensuring of long-term targets
- Continuously optimising the sales regions by assigning existing and new customers (leads) to Sales staff.
- Ensuring and conducting market monitoring. Determining customer potential and analysing the competition.
- Creating market development plans and updating them regularly.
- Ensuring the compilation and further development of account development plans in the area of responsibility.
Your Profile:
- 10+ years’ sales management experience in ingredients industry, preferably with flavor products experience;
- Familiar with China beverage market and key players;
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Spirit of team-working and compliance;
- Fluency in Chinese and English
