Position Summary:
• Lead and strengthen Doehler China legal, compliance and risk control capabilities to support business growth, protect company interests, improve governance standards, and reduce operational and commercial risks across all China entities and functions.
• Act as a strong business partner to management and key functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HR and Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Compliance, Governance & Risk Control
• Strengthen compliance and governance standards across Doehler China
• Improve approval processes and internal controls
• Identify and manage operational and commercial risks
• Support conflict-of-interest management and internal investigations
• Improve legal awareness and compliance culture within teams

Commercial Contract & Business Support
• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of different types of contracts ( Customer/Distributor/Supplier/tolling / co-packing/NDA…)
• Support commercial disputes, claims and contract risks
• Support management in strategic business negotiations

Distributor, Supplier & Operational Risk Management
• Manage legal and compliance risks
• Support business model and channel governance improvement
• Reduce legal and financial risks in operations

Corporate Legal & Employment Support
• Ensure compliance with China laws and Group policies
• Support company registration, licenses and corporate filings
• Support HR on labor law and employee dispute matters
• Support sensitive employee and disciplinary cases

Litigation & External Counsel Management
• Manage external law firms and legal service providers
• Coordinate litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution
• Control legal costs and improve effectiveness of legal support

Your Profile
• Bachelor degree or above in Law;
• Qualified lawyer in China preferred;
• 8–10 years legal experience;
• Experience in food ingredients, manufacturing or multinational environment preferred;
• Strong commercial contract and compliance experience;
• Experience in risk control, governance or investigation support preferred;
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
• Business-oriented, practical and independent mindset;
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
