We are seeking a dedicated and internationally experienced Manager for Group EHS (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing health, safety, and environmental matters, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance across our group of companies.
Your Tasks:
- Develop and communicate comprehensive EHS strategies, guidelines and goals for all global locations
- Collaborate with local EHS managers to ensure consistent application of internal and external requirements and regulations across the group
- Analyze and evaluate aggregated data from all locations to identify trends, improvement opportunities and best practices
- Lead group-wide EHS training and awareness programs to standardize knowledge and practices
- Conduct investigations into major incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective actions
- Represent the company in interactions with authorities, stakeholders and industry associations on EHS matters across the group
- Benchmark and integrate industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance EHS standards within the group
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide environmental and sustainability initiatives, including waste management and carbon footprint reduction
- Provide guidelines and standards to ensure compliance with legal requirements for occupational and process safety, as well as environmental protection, within the integrated management system for all international sites
- Support local EHS managers in developing policies, processes and facilities that align with production growth while maintaining strong EHS performance
- Advise sites on adapting to legislative changes and ensure timely compliance with updated regulations
Your Profile:
- Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, health and safety management, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in EHS management, ideally in an international organization
- In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating and interpreting data
- Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written; German would be an advantage
- Ability to coordinate and motivate teams across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and promoting cultural change in EHS practices
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of technologies for HSE management
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) are an advantage
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
