JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
As a point of contact for existing and new customers, the Inside Sales Support Specialist provides them with excellent customer service, understanding customer needs to build trust and loyalty, leading to repeat business and long-term relationships. The Inside Sales Support Specialist collaborates with the Account Managers to assist in managing complete sales activity from lead to cash.
Essential Functions

1. Processing samples on time, taking into account the throughput and delivery times, optimum number of samples and costs, in collaboration with the colleagues responsible in Sales.
2. Preparing quotations, contracts, and price agreements quickly in collaboration with Pricing and on the basis of agreed minimum order quantities, bulk prices, extra packaging charges, payment and delivery conditions.
3. Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
4. Continuously updating customer master data.
5. Ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
6. Optimal and consequent usage of the digital systems and initiation of optimizations for a penetrating digitization of the business processes
7. Following up on customer complaints in collaboration with Notification Management and in consultation with the colleagues responsible in Sales and Quality; conducting appropriate communication with the respective customers and implementing suitable measures (e.g., credit notes) in consultation with the line manager and Sales.
8. Stimulating continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures and implementing corresponding measures in consultation with the line manager.
9. Supporting Sales and customers during entire Lead-to-Order process, including Opportunity management Requests for Information (RFI).
10. Fulfilling administrative tasks to support Account Managers, including Forecast entry and update.
11. Proactively managing overdues to support cashflow, overdue payments, dispute cases.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This role is located in Princeton, NJ

Required Qualifications
o Experience in sales operations
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
o Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability
o Operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment with full control and responsibility of achieving business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in any discipline, business or technical background is considered an advantage
o Food & beverage market or chemical industry experience is preferred
o CRM experience is preferred. (SAP Cloud preferable)
