JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Lean Production Manager is responsible for the elimination of waste and inefficiency within the production process. This role is integral in reducing waste, increasing productivity, improving quality and enhancing flexibility within our production processes.

 

Essential Functions Operations

  1. Apply the divisional strategy within the area of responsibility.
  2. Integrating new employees into the workflow and team. Promote team spirit.
  3. Ensure optimal information exchange within the team and with the interfaces.
  4. Setting impulses for continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures as well as implementation of corresponding measures in coordination with the manager.
  5. Contributing ideas and implementing the digital transformation in the area of responsibility. Coordinating and implementing digitization projects in cooperation with the interfaces. Optimizing and mapping new and existing business processes in the digital databases and systems.
  6. Adhere to approved budget and initiate appropriate action on impending and identified variances in coordination with manager.
  7. Comply with legal requirements and internal regulations.
  8. Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.

 

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is  occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.

The employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days can vary.

 

Travel
Less than 10%

 

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree required, in related field
  2. 3-5 years of experience in lean production
  3. Food & beverage industry experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. SAP experience
