We are actively looking for a The Pre-Scaler Technician is a part of the Production team. The Production Pre-Scaler Technician is responsible for accurately scaling and mixing both dry and liquid ingredients, flavors, and partial quantities. The Pre-Scaler Technician will also perform task associated with maintaining accurate inventory control, staging of materials, and will perform prep and job staging inventory control and WIP. keeping all partial raw materials needed for bulk manufacturing, while watching constantly for a safe and clean work place.
This is a full time, onsite position based in our Cartersville, GA manufacturing facility.
Your Responsibilities:
- Pre-scale raw materials using FIFO, scales, and appropriate utensils; ensure materials and flavors are staged 48 hours in advance.
- Manage raw materials storage, staging, and return of unused items to proper locations (ambient/refrigerated).
- Process released and CRTD orders in SAP for production and pre-staging; handle R&D sample orders and send daily recap reports.
- Operate production machines using manual/automatic controls, adjusting equipment based on product and schedule needs.
- Process raw and semi-finished products per recipes and manufacturing instructions; fill finished products into packaging.
- Perform quality checks, take samples, and forward results to Quality; record all required production and process data.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area; follow daily 5S and GMP practices.
- Support general sanitation duties and assist other production areas as needed.
- Manage workload effectively, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Your Profile:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience in production, scaling and or flavor production
- 1+ years’ experience with SAP
- Comfortable using mask or respirator for flavor or chemical products
- Forklift Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to handle drums of up to 600 pounds and carry bags of up to 80 pounds
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humidity and cold temperatures.

The employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
