JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Receiving Clerk will receive, inspect and record shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.
Essential Functions

- Ensures that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved purchase orders, associated bill of lading or invoice.
- Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
- Accurately process all good receipts in a timely manner, within 60 minutes of offload
- Ensure all receipts are closed out daily; including Ariba, exceptions for PO discrepancies
- Communicate package deliveries to departments via email or Microsoft Teams.
- Communicate any discrepancies with PO vs physical quantities, any leaks, damaged items, or any reasons for possible load rejection
- Work with business partners to resolve any receiving/good receipt errors or issues
- Complete, submit, and scan all documentation at minimum by end of business day
- Maintain daily inbound dock area cleanliness to include movement and storage of materials
- Work with Warehouse team for flexing dock space day-to-day for Inbound/Outbound flow
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Stores and stacks materials according to company standards
- Maintain detailed record of all truck inspections and report all rejected trucks and rejected loads to sourcing to file claims
- Unload packages form incoming trucks
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Records transfers and issues of materials in SAP, with responsibilities involving work in inbounds and raw materials.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships, co-workers, team lead, supervisor or manager, etc.
- Respond to emails and answer telephone in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.
Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse and/or transportation
- 2+ years’ experience with SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
