Your role

  • In cooperation with other departments (Sales, BU, Development), you will optimize our products by adapting and changing recipes in compliance with customs and excise regulations
  • You are the contact person for all questions relating to customs tariff law for the Group-wide specialist departments and provide support with your knowledge
  • Your tasks include the customs tariff classification of products as part of the master data material system in SAP as well as checking and monitoring the classified products in cooperation with Sourcing, Production, Quality and RPD
  • You will be responsible for systematically checking the tariff classification of active materials and applying for (non)binding tariff information from customs authorities
  • You will be responsible for setting up and developing an automated tariff classification system as part of a global tariff classification tool and embedding it in SAP
  • You will assess internal and external company processes with regard to customs tariff and excise tax aspects
  • You document the various process steps in our internal company system and proactively drive quality and optimization in your area of responsibility
  • You will work on projects to further automate processes in the area of customs, foreign trade and excise tax law, e.g. preference calculation or tax warehouse processing

 

Your profile

  • You have sound professional experience in the areas of development, quality assurance or production, ideally from the food industry
  • You have already benefited from your product knowledge in daily business and see yourself as an expert in recipe management
  • You have knowledge of customs law and tariff classification or enjoy familiarizing yourself with this area
  • Ideally, you have experience in European excise law
  • You have worked successfully in projects and are experienced in the use of SAP, ideally you have already worked with GTS
  • You quickly understand complex interrelationships, your working method is proactive and analytical
  • With your open way of communicating, you know how to proactively contribute and convince with suggestions
  • Your working languages are German and English
