Your Role

• You lead and manage complex cloud development and implementation projects on Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals
• You plan strategically and optimize the existing Azure infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, high availability, and cost efficiency
• You lead and mentor junior cloud engineers in integrating applications and data into the cloud
• You take technical responsibility for planning and executing extensive migration projects from on-premises systems to Azure
• You develop and implement robust and scalable automation solutions using Azure DevOps and other tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes
• You continuously optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs and maximize performance
• You serve as a point of contact for internal teams regarding cloud best practices and architectural decisions, conducting training and workshops for knowledge sharing
• You define and update security policies and ensure compliance requirements are met throughout the cloud environment

Your Profile

• You have a completed degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• You have at least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, focusing on complex architectures and solutions

• You have proven experience in leading and managing cloud projects

• You possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in all areas of Microsoft Azure, including:

  • Azure Active Directory
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Storage Solutions
  • Networking services (Azure Virtual Network, Azure Load Balancer)
  • Security services (Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory Privileged Identity Management)
  • Virtualization services (Azure VMs, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service)
  • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM Templates, Terraform)
  • DevOps pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Cloud cost management tools (Azure Cost Management, Azure Monitor)

• You have certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Developer Associate, which are desirable

• You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to convey complex technical matters clearly

• You demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a motivated cloud engineering team

• You possess highly analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and proactively

• You have a passion for new technologies and a willingness to engage in continuous learning
