Group EHS Manager (m/f/d)
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an internationally experienced and dedicated Group EHS Manager (m/f/d) who will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring health, safety, and environmental issues, as well as regulatory compliance, within the group.
 

Your tasks:
• Develop and communicate overarching EHS strategies, policies, and objectives for all locations worldwide
• Coordinate with local EHS managers to ensure consistent implementation of internal and external requirements and regulations across the group
• Analyze and evaluate aggregated data from all locations to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices
• Conduct group-wide EHS training and awareness programs to standardize knowledge and practices
• Lead investigations into major incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective actions
• Represent the company in group-wide interactions with authorities, stakeholders, and industry associations regarding EHS topics
• Benchmark and integrate industry best practices and new technologies to continuously improve EHS within the group
• Contribute to and establish group-wide environmental and sustainability initiatives, from waste management to reducing the carbon footprint
• Provide guidelines and standards to ensure excellence Enable and monitor compliance with legal regulations for the international site network with regard to occupational and process safety and environmental protection within the framework of the integrated management system.
• Support local EHS managers at the sites in developing the right policies, processes, and facilities to ensure that growth in production volume is accompanied by the right measures to keep EHS performance on track.
• Advise the sites in the event of changes in legislation.


Your profile:
• Completed studies in environmental science, engineering, health and safety management, or a similar field.
• Several years of professional experience in EHS management, ideally in an international organization.
• In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating and interpreting data.
• Very good communication skills in English, both oral and written; German would be advantageous.
• Ability to coordinate and motivate teams across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven success in successfully implementing and driving cultural change in EHS practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of technology for HSE management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) are an advantage.
