Your Role

  • As part of our digital transformation at our production sites worldwide, you strategically develop and implement Industry 4.0 standards and solutions for Industrial Internet of Thinks (IIoT) requirements (cyber security, lifecycle management)
  • You analyze existing processes, manufacturing and testing systems to develop and implement a digital twin from the data in the MES or BDE
  • You create and realize concepts for worldwide standards and solutions for automation
  • In your projects, you work closely with the supply chain and IT departments
  • You are responsible for the technical implementation of global projects and support the implemented solutions at the production sites

 

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in information technology, electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable 
  • Professional and project experience in an international, manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of process technology, software engineering, IT automation and cyber security
  • Experience with time series databases (e.g. Proficy Historian from GE Digital), SQL databases and MES software (e.g. Plant Applications from GE Digital) 
  • Technical understanding in combination with a problem-solving and implementation-oriented mindset
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Valid driver's license and you are willing to travel internationally (approx. 10-20%)
