We are currently looking for a Product Manager for our Business Unit Natural Performance Ingredients and Ingredient Systems. The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the plant quality team in developing and upholding robust quality and food safety management systems specific to the plant's operations.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of quality management principles.
  • Monitor and analyze plant-specific quality metrics, driving continuous improvement and addressing deviations.
  • Mentor, train, and support the plant quality team, fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to best practices.
  • Coordinate quality audits, both internal and external, ensuring compliance and implementing corrective actions.
  • Liaise with plant management and stakeholders to communicate quality performance and areas of concern.
  • Stay updated on industry-specific quality and food safety management standards and best practices, ensuring plant alignment.
  • Implement and maintain documentation processes for all quality management activities within the plant.
  • Drive cross-functional quality initiatives, fostering collaboration and unified quality objectives across the plant.
  • Champion the principles of quality excellence within the plant, driving a culture of continuous improvement and high standards.
  • Guide the plant quality team in implementing and upholding quality excellence methodologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate plant performance against quality excellence benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality excellence strategies throughout production and operations.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops on quality excellence methodologies and best practices for plant staff.
  • Defining, implementing and ensuring in-house and statutory specifications and guidelines on hygiene, HACCP, food safety, occupational safety and environmental protection. Ensuring that these are implemented in subordinate organisational units.
  • Ensuring and implementing preventative and responsive complaints and deviation management.
  • Planning and supporting certification audits, documenting the results and tracking measures from audit reports.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree of Food Technology, Science or a relevant discipline.
  • Not less than 5 years of Experience in Quality and Food safety role.
  • Food and Beverage Manufacturing background is a must.
  • Understanding of Lean six Sigma, HACCP Principles and Food safety knowledge.
  • Excellent in English language.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
