JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective
The Sourcing Intern is responsible for performing Sourcing related clerical projects and follow-up entry level functions.

  1. Assist the North American Sourcing Team with project related requests - major project is pricing maintenance which will be the main focus to start.
  2. Maintain data within SAP and other applications as directed.  
  3. Perform required follow-up, vendor inquiries and/or document requests.
  4. Support the successful maintenance of pricing and other data fields.
  5. Manage sample requests and support alternate supplier qualifications.

None 

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time onsite position requiring 20-25 hours per week completed during regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position will be based in our Princeton, NJ Office. Punctuality and reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications 

  1. College coursework in supply chain, logistics, or related field is preferred along with the interest and desire to learn the flavor/compound/juice business.
  2. Must be proficient in MS Office applications and be able to learn SAP.
