Summary/Objective

The Pre-Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, connecting with and obtaining opportunities with new clients that are not currently being serviced by Dohler. This will be determined by their specific area of focus. The position will be responsible for identifying new potential clients and finding a way to connect with them to gain opportunities with lead generation. This could be through external and internal lead sources to grow our lead pipeline. Leads should have a high conversion rate to grow our opportunity pipeline and therefore our sales funnel. The Pre-Sales manager represents the entire range of company products and services. This position will lead the initial work with the customer to ensure their needs are met by the company. Identifies unique ways to connect with the customer and provide solutions in the face of challenges. Works with account management to transition accounts once success has been achieved.

 

Essential Functions

  • Lead Generation to drive our overall LTO Pipeline with high qualitative leads.
  • Manage the Digital go-to-market process to identify, qualify, capture, propose and forward new leads to the respective Sales Teams.
  • Prospect Generation, figuring out who and where are the missing customers.
  • Occasionally perform digital research on target markets.
  • Analyze Potential Markets and customers.
  • Qualification of Leads for a high conversion rate into opportunities to drive our pipeline forward.
  • Initiate contact with new potential customers
  • Develop initial opportunity within new potential customer
  • Oversees and manages new customer capabilities presentations
  • Creation of Leads and new potential businesses in collaboration with sales, marketing and product management.
  • Understands the Product Marketing messaging and go-to-market strategy in order to support campaigns that align to target accounts, verticals, personas, and messaging themes
  • Oversee all of the tactics used to develop and cultivate long-term customer relationships. They use their skills and strategic knowledge to help businesses enter and succeed in new markets, advertise and sell new products, and fine-tune their customer experience programs together with sales.
  • Develop external lead sources for a digital and automatized lead generation
  • Execute marketing campaigns together with marketing, business units and market segments
  • Increase quality of all incoming leads to achieve a high conversion rate >50.

Work Environment

This job operates remotely but will be required to be one of our corporate offices from time to time. Travel to potential customers is also required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. This role is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the plant can be loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary on occasion depending on work load.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Business Development environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
