Summary/Object
The Raw Material Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory and planning for essential flavor production materials, including raw materials, compounds, juices, botanicals for extraction, and finished extracts. The role also involves planning for the bulk chemicals used in robotic compounding for sampling and ensuring smooth operations in both the flavor creation and application labs.

- Work with the inventory management system to plan and coordinate raw material and finished flavor replenishment together with local planning resource.
- Coordinate and ensure punctual transfer of all goods from Cartersville as needed for active project work and samples.
- Coordinate and ensure intermediate products in accordance with recipes and production and operating instructions from R&D’s Recipe Management system.
- Ensure sensory evaluation for products brought in from the plant and escalate nonconformance issues to the respective business and R&D stakeholders.
- Replenish the chambers in the automated compounding station to ensure timely delivery of needed materials.
- Ensure correct care and cleaning of laboratory equipment and the surrounding areas, as well as documenting this in the appropriate forms.
- Process incoming sample requests from ISS and developer DO’s for traded goods.
- Implement guidelines for stock takes and ensure that stock takes and stock adjustment postings are executed correctly.
- Implement in-house and statutory specifications and guidelines on hygiene, HACCP, food safety, occupational safety and environmental protection, ensure that these are implemented in subordinate organizational units.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Princeton, New Jersey, with regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary on occasion depending on workload.
Required Qualifications
- Laboratory training and industry knowledge of food, flavor or fragrance materials incompliance with EH&S and OSHA requirements.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in food, flavor, or fragrance production or sampling function.
